The saddle height can be easily set using our secure, tool-free ratcheting system, with customizable fore/aft positioning and angle. The handlebars can be moved up, down, forward, and back. With three different handlebar grip options, finding the perfect riding position is simple and convenient.

Air Resistance Technology

    The BikeErg features a flywheel design similar to our indoor rowers and SkiErg, offering a smooth, responsive ride. You control your workout intensity and resistance with the damper, which adjusts the airflow to the flywheel. This function acts like gears on a bicycle: opening the damper increases resistance for a harder ride, while closing it reduces resistance for an easier ride. It's an effective way to customize your workout to your fitness level.

    Setting up and moving the Concept2 BikeErg is simple. It comes with clear instructions and tools for quick assembly. The lightweight aluminium frame and built-in caster wheels make it easy to transport, while its commercial-grade durability ensures it's a dependable addition to any gym.

Performance Monitor

    Each BikeErg comes with our advanced PM5 Performance Monitor, delivering consistent and comparable data for every ride. The PM5 features an automatic "Just Ride" mode and lets you set various workouts. It provides detailed metrics, including pace, watts, cadence (rpm), and calories burned, storing all this information automatically. The PM5 is powered by two D-cell batteries when not powered by the flywheel, ensuring continuous operation.

Product Description

Concept2's BikeErg introduces flywheel and performance monitor technology, similar to what’s found in their popular indoor rowers and SkiErgs, to the cycling world. This makes the benefits of rowing and skiing accessible to cyclists.

The BikeErg uses air resistance from its flywheel for a quiet and responsive ride that naturally adjusts to your effort. The damper functions like gears, letting you customize the resistance to your workout needs. A unique feature is the clutch mechanism, which allows the flywheel to continue spinning even when you stop pedalling, unlike traditional stationary bikes.

The PM5 Monitor supports Bluetooth, enabling connections to apps like Concept2's ErgData and third-party platforms like Zwift. The versatile device holder securely fits smartphones and tablets of various sizes with easy adjustments. For the best viewing angle during workouts, the Performance Monitor can be positioned at the end of the handlebar rail by removing the device holder.
