Pool Tables

A pool table is a rectangular table that is used for playing the game of pool, also known as billiards. The table is typically constructed of a large slab of slate, covered with a special cloth, and surrounded by raised cushioned edges. The playing surface is delineated by a set of pockets, usually six in total, one at each corner and two along each side. The game is played by striking a set of balls, including a white cue ball and 15 object balls, with the goal of sinking the object balls into the pockets with a long, narrow stick called a cue. Pool tables are typically found in pool halls, bars, and other recreational areas, and they come in a variety of sizes and styles to accommodate different skill levels and playing preferences.
