The 360PTX is an improvement over its predecessors because it includes ALL of their functions PLUS MORE. The key improvement is the dynamic "Jammer Arm" system, which makes this already very functional machine much more versatile. The 360PTX has a new corporate color design of Black frame and Copper trim and includes not only significantly more training possibilities but also improved safety measures for the weight stack.
There are a whopping SIX (6) foot holds on the 360PTX. The sagging of the two bottom frames, which causes the smith machine to jam, is prevented by the placement of two additional feet under the weight stacks. All models with only four (4) feet supports suffer from this issue.
Incorporating the Jammer Arm system into your workout routine will take this machine to the next level.
Includes Commercial Grade aircraft wire (rated 1000kg), a pop pin, and two stacks of precision-cut steel weights totaling 100 kilograms (5 kilogram increments). Complete with high-quality, sealed-bearing pulleys from a commercial supplier, so the gears spin easily. In order to avoid the weight stack from "topping out" during cable functional movements, cable crossovers, etc., the 360PTX is built with a 2:1 pulley ratio.
Incorporated "spotting arms" (safety devices) and commercial grade J-Hooks that can be removed and repositioned in seconds. Likewise, the "Spotting" arms and the J-Hooks come with safety pins and moulded nylon covers to avoid accidental metal-on-metal contact.
