The ultimate C-Series Reformer, the C8-Pro features an oversized aluminum profile and foot bar for maximum quietness and minimal maintenance, as well as an 8 PU wheel carriage system.

The C8-Pro, like all commercial Reformers made by Align-Pilates, has our patent-pending Rapid Change (RC) spring bar, which allows for the fastest and easiest adjustment available.

Many Pilates professionals prefer the Reformer because of its ride characteristics, which are primarily determined by the number and type of wheels. The quantity and quality of the machine's wheels affect its noise level, cross-loading capacity, carriage resistance, and amount of maintenance required for optimal performance. The eight "roller blade style" wheels on the C8-Pro are intended to offer a quieter, softer ride with slightly more rolling resistance than the harder nylon wheels used in a four-wheel system, such as on the C2-Pro RC, where the wheels run in a matched aluminum profile. Which is better will depend on the user or users' preferences, but this will be a key consideration for many when choosing which machine to buy. Many will probably prefer the ride style that they are more experienced with or trained on!

The C8-Pro's Rapid Change spring bar allows you to quickly and easily adjust your reformer, which is very helpful if you teach group classes (this is where the C8-Pro really shines). The spring bar is easily adjustable with just one hand, one action, and the attached springs, saving up to twelve extra actions when compared to most conventional spring bars.
