The WaterRower Club is a hand-crafted, color-stained solid Ash object. The WaterRower Club is intended for use in high-traffic areas like studios, rehabilitation centers, and commercial gyms. The Black Rails on this model are designed to avoid scuffs, and the other wooden parts are finished in lovely rosewood that is more stain-resistant than the Natural model. For protection, urethane and Danish oil have been applied by hand to each machine. The reason wood was chosen for the WaterRower is because of its amazing engineering qualities. Firstly, it absorbs sound and vibration, which makes the device quieter and easier to use. Ash is a premium hardwood with exceptional longevity and dimensional stability, much like all the woods used in the construction of WaterRower.

The S4 Monitor shows intensity in watts, Kcalories per hour, /500m (time per 500 meters), mph (mile per hour), watts per second, and m/s (meters per second). It shows distance in meters, kilometers, and miles; heart rate (with an optional heartrate attachment); the number of strokes and their duration; and stroke rate.
